Abscess
​A confined pocket of pus that collects in tissues, organs, or spaces inside the body.

FOODS TO EAT MORE OF
  • Fruits: Blackberries, cranberries, pineapple
  • Vegetables: Cauliflower, kale, onion, shiitake mushrooms
  • Garlic, yogurt, green tea

FOODS TO AVOID OR MINIMIZE
  • Excess artificial sugar, alcohol
  • Dairy products (except yogurt), fried foods, white flour & rice

ESSENTIAL OILS
Apply on location or in a warm compress
  • Bergamot, Birch, Carrot, Eucalyptus, Frankincense, Galbanum, Lavender, Myrrh, Roman Chamomile, Rosalina, Tea Tree (Melaleuca), Thyme
In the mouth: Apply on location or in a warm compress
  • Birch, Clove, Tea Tree (Melaleuca)

HERBAL
  • Ointments containing Marshmallow and Slippery Elm
  • Try creams made containing Eucalyptus
  • Mix Turmeric, Licorice (root) and/or Golden Seal (powder) with water and apply twice daily
  • Add Basil to food, or add fresh or dried leaves to tea
  • Chickweed, Echinacea
  • Comfrey poultice

NATURAL
  • ​Carrot juice, Neem Oil and/or Castor Oil, on location
  • Apply heat/warm compress (try Epsom Salt mixed with warm water in compress)

MIND-BODY CONNECTION​​
  • Can represent lingering feelings of hurt and/or revenge
