Baked Ham

DIETS: LC GF
Servings: 20 (6 oz portions)
Time: 5 hours

Ingredients: 
  • 1 (8 pound) fully cooked, boneless honey ham (not presliced)
  • 1 cup cherry coke
  • 1/2 cup dark brown sugar, packed
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground allspice
  • 1 can (20 oz) pineapple slices in pineapple juice
  • 10 maraschino cherries
  • toothpicks

Instructions: 
  • Preheat oven to 275F.
  • Place ham in a 9x13" pan.
  • Pour soda over the entire ham.
  • In a medium bowl, mix brown sugar & allspice and rub mixture on ham.
  • Attach the pineapple slices to the outside of the ham with toothpicks.
  • Attach 1 cherry in the center of each pineapple ring with a toothpick.
  • Tent with aluminum foil (try not to puncture with toothpicks), securing tightly around the edges of the pan.
  • Bake for 4-5 hours or until 160 degrees in the center.  
  • Let rest for 10 minutes before cutting.
  • Serve warm (drizzled with baking juices if desired).
