Balsamic Glazed Fish

DIETS: LC GF KT
Serves: 4
Time: 30 Minutes

Ingredients: 
  • 4 tilapia fillets (6-8 ounces each)
  • Salt & Pepper
  • 3 Tablespoons Olive Oil
  • 4 Tablespoons Butter
  • 1 Tablespoon minced shallot, onion or green onion, if desired
  • 1/4 cup balsamic vinegar

Instructions: 
  • Pat the fish dry and sprinkle with salt & pepper.
  • Heat oil in large skillet over med-high heat. Cook fish for 4 minutes on each side, until cooked through.
  • Meanwhile, add butter & shallots/onion/green onion to a small saucepan. Brown the butter over med heat for 2-3 minutes, then stir in the balsamic vinegar and simmer for 1-2 minutes to reduce by half.
  • Pour the brown butter sauce over the fish and serve immediately.
