BBQ Pork Sandwiches (Slow Cooker)

Serves 8
**PLAN AHEAD - SLOW COOKER RECIPE**


Ingredients: 
  • 4-5 lbs pork roast
  • 21 oz Sweet Baby Ray's BBQ Sauce (1.5 of the 14oz bottles, or 3/4 of the 28oz bottle)
  • 2 tsp brown sugar
  • 2 Tbsp fresh lemon juice
  • 1 large onion, chopped
  • 8 hamburger buns
  • Additional toppings if desired (pickles, coleslaw, etc)


Instructions: 
  • Add pork roast(s) to slow cooker.  Cover & cook on low 10-12 hours (or high for 5-6 hours).
  • When done cooking, remove pork from slow cooker and pull the meat apart into shredded pieces. (Pour out remaining liquid in slow cooker and discard)
  • Add the shredded pork back into the slow cooker and add remaining sauce ingredients.  
  • Mix well and cook on high for 2 additional hours. 
  • Serve on buns with toppings of choice (if desired)
