1/2 cup green onions, sliced (reserve a few of the green tops to garnish at the end)
1/2 cup dried cranberries
Instructions:
Preheat oven to 400F and place rack in top position
In a medium bowl, mix chicken chunks, walnuts, green onions and cranberries
In a separate small bowl, mix Gorgonzola, cream cheese and a sprinkle of salt with a hand mixer until smooth
Add cream cheese mixture to chicken mixture and blend well
Brush olive oil on both sides of bread rounds, sprinkle with a little garlic salt and place on a large cookie sheet
Bake at 400F until bread is lightly browned, but not completely toasted (just a few minutes)
Remove from oven and spread cream cheese mixture on bread rounds.
Put oven on broiler setting and broil rounds on top rack until cheese is bubbling (1-2 minutes)
Sprinkle with green onions and serve
