It wouldn't be Christmas without these at our house! This variation is from my Grandma Madge Fratzke. DIETS: LC VT Serves 36
Ingredients:
1 (12-oz) package milk chocolate chips (or vegan alternative if desired)
1 (12-oz) package butterscotch chips (or vegan alternative if desired)
2 cups chow mien noodles
1 cup peanuts
Instructions:
Melt chips together over low heat until melted (don't rush this step! If the chips heat too quickly, they will scald and this ruins the consistency of the mixture).
Add noodles and nuts and mix well.
Drop by spoonfuls onto waxed paper. Cool.
Variations:
Make "Gremlins" for Halloween by adding mini M&M's as eyes!
