Creamed Spinach

Serves: 2
Time: 15 Minutes

Ingredients: 
  • 2 Tablespoons butter
  • 1 Tablespoon flour
  • 3/4 cup heavy cream
  • 6 cups fresh spinach, stems removed
  • 1 garlic clove, minced
  • Dash nutmeg
  • Salt & Pepper, to taste

Instructions: 
  • Melt butter in a large skillet over medium heat. Add flour and whisk until combined.
  • Add cream and whisk until combined.
  • Add spinach and garlic and cook, stirring constantly, until spinach is wilted (3-5 minutes).
  • Season with nutmeg, salt & pepper and serve immediately.
