DIETS: LC KT So easy....SO GOOD! Serves 4 Time: About an hour - but most of that is cooking time.
2 Tablespoons oil
4 thawed boneless, skinless chicken breasts (trimmed of fat if desired)
1 envelope dry onion soup mix
1/2 teaspoon dried tarragon leaves
1 cup water
1/2 cup dry white wine
2 Tablespoons flour
1/2 cup heavy cream
In large skillet, heat oil and brown chicken over med-high heat.
Add onion recipe soup mix, tarragon, water and wine.
Simmer, covered, 45 minutes or until chicken is done.
Remove chicken to serving platter and keep warm.
Mix flour with cream until no chunks of flour remain. Add to skillet.
Bring just to boiling point, then reduce heat to low and simmer, stirring constantly, until sauce is thickened (about 5 minutes).
Pour sauce over chicken and serve.
