Ingredients:
Approximately 32 chicken wings
1 cup chopped white/yellow onion
1 cup soy sauce or tamari
¾ cup packed light brown sugar
¼ cup dry sherry
2 tablespoons fresh ginger, minced
2 cloves garlic, minced
Chopped fresh chives or scallions for garnish
Instructions:
Preheat broiler and broil wings about 5 minutes per side.
Place chicken in slow cooker.
In a medium bowl, mix onion, soy sauce, brown sugar, sherry, ginger and garlic.
Add to slow cooker and stir to combine.
Cover and cook on low 5 to 6 hours or on high 2 to 3 hours.
Sprinkle with chives or scallions and serve.
