3 large green chili peppers (Anaheim or long), seeded and diced
3 teaspoons chili powder
1 1/2 teaspoons ground cumin
1 teaspoon marjoram
1 (28oz) can roasted diced tomatoes with juice
1 teaspoon sugar
2 teaspoons salt
Instructions:
In large saucepan, heat olive oil over medium heat.
Add onions and peppers and sauté until softened.
Add all remaining ingredients and simmer until heated through.
Blend to smooth with an immersion blender, or let cool a bit and blend in regular blender until smooth.
