Fish with Garlic Sauce

Servings: 4
Time: 45 minutes

Ingredients: 
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 25 cloves garlic, peeled and curshed
  • 2 Tablespoons onion, chopped
  • 2 Tablespoons green onion, chopped
  • 4 fish fillets, thawed (about 5 ounces each)
  • 1/4 cup flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/8 teaspoon pepper
  • 1/4 cup oil for frying
  • Parsley for garnishing, if desired

Instructions: 
  • Melt butter in a small saucepan over low heat.
  • Add garlic & onions and cook on low to med-low until garlic is golden (about 25-30 minutes), stirring occasionally.
  • Remove garlic cloves from sauce and keep warm.
  • Meanwhile, mix flour, salt and pepper in a wide shallow dish.
  • Coat each fillet in the flour mixture.
  • Heat oil in a large skillet over medium to med-high heat. 
  • Cook until fish flakes easily with a fork (about 3 minutes on each side).
  • Serve fish with garlic sauce spooned over the top. Garnish with parsley, if desired
