1 teaspoon sugar

1/4 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes
1/8 teaspoon black pepper
6 cups roughly chopped cabbage
1/4 cup water
Instructions:
Melt butter in a large skillet over medium heat.
Add all remaining ingredients and cook until cabbage is tender and water has evaporated (about 10-12 minutes), stirring occasionally.
Serve immediately.
