Grilled Strip Steaks

Ingredients: 
  • 2 Tablespoons chili powder
  • 1 Tablespoon finely ground coffee
  • 1 Tablespoon smoked paprika
  • 2 teaspoons garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon dry mustard
  • 1 teaspoon unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1/8 teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • 6 bone-in strip steaks (about 1" thick)
  • Olive Oil Cooking Spray

Instructions: 
  • In a small bowl, combine all spices (reserve 2 Tablespoons of the rub for later).
  • Pat steaks dry with paper towels.
  • Rub both sides of the steaks with the remaining rub and let site 15-30 minutes.
  • Heat grill to med-high. Spray steaks with cooking spray.  
  • Grill 7-8 minutes (for med-rare, flipping once), or until desired doneness.
  • Sprinkle with reserved rub and serve warm.
