Hard Cider Sangria

DIETS: GF VG VT
Serves 2 (plan ahead - needs to soak!)

Ingredients: 
  • 2 bottles hard cider
  • 1 can ginger beer
  • Sliced fruit of choice (we like apples, oranges and strawberries) - enough to fill a pitcher 1/3-1/2 full
  • Frozen strawberries or raspberries for garnish
 
Instructions: 
  • In a large pitcher, add the sliced fruit.  Pour the hard cider on top and allow to soak for 4-6 hours. 
  • Strain the mixture to remove all the fruit.
  • Add ice and frozen berries to a highball glass. 
  • Pour cider over top (about 3/4 full).  Top with ginger beer to taste.
