Instant Pot Rice

DIETS: LC GF VG VT
Servings: 4
Time: 30 Minutes

Ingredients:
  • 2 cups rice (brown or white)
  • Water (2.5 cups for brown, 2 cups for white)
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt

Instructions:
  • Combine rice, water and salt in pot
  • Lock and turn valve to sealing
  • Push pressure cook button and set time for 4 min (white) or 15 min (brown) at high pressure.
  • Let steam release naturally for 10 min, then quick release
  • Remove lid and fluff with fork (if rice is too wet, place dish towel over the pot and let the moisture evaporate for a few min longer
