1 - 15 ounce can dark red kidney beans (with their liquid)
Cheese & sour cream for garnish and bread or crackers for dipping, if desired
Instructions:
Heat oil in a large soup kettle over med-high heat.
Add onions, garlic and jalapeno and stir until softened (3-5 minutes).
Add the pepperoni and saute for 1-2 minutes
Add the beef, salt, pepper, chili powder, oregano, paprika and cumin and stir to combine.
Add the sausage and stir to combine and cook until beef and sausage are browned.
Add the stock, tomato sauce & beans and bring to a boil.
Reduce heat to medium and let simmer for 30-45 minutes, stirring often.
Top with garnishes of choice and serve bread or crackers for dipping on the side (if desired).
