Classic recipe from my mom! DIETS: VT Servings: 12 Time: 1.5 hours
Ingredients:
1 1/2 cups flour
1 1/2 sticks butter
1/2 cup finely chopped pecans (plus a little more for garnishing)
1 (8oz) pkg cream cheese
1 cup powdered sugar
16 ounce carton of Cool Whip, divided
2 (3oz) pkgs instant pudding (chocolate)
3 cups cold milk
Chocolate shavings or sprinkles for garnishing
Instructions:
Mix flour and butter and press into bottom of 9x13" pan. Bake 20 minutes at 325F. Cool completely.
Mix cream cheese, powdered sugar and 2 cups Cool Whip with mixer and spread over cooled crust. Refrigerate.
Mix pudding mix with milk and pour over cream cheese layer. Cover top with remaining Cool Whip. Decorate with chocolate shavings/sprinkles and/or finely chopped pecans.
Refrigerate.
