Peanut Butter Swirl Brownies

Ingredients: 
  • 4 squares Unsweetened Chocolate
  • 3/4 cup (1 1/2 sticks) butter, plus 1 Tablespoon for topping
  • 2 cups sugar, plus 2 Tablespoons for topping
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup chopped nuts (optional)
  • 1 cup peanut butter

Instructions: 
  • Heat oven to 350 degrees F. Microwave chocolate and 3/4 cup butter in large bowl on HIGH 2 minutes or until butter is melted.
  • Stir until chocolate is completely melted. Stir 2 cups sugar into melted chocolate mixture. Mix in eggs and vanilla until well blended. Spread in greased 13x9 inch pan.
  • Mix together 1 Tablespoon melted butter, 2 Tablespoons sugar and 1 cup peanut butter. Place spoonfuls of peanut butter mixture over brownie batter. Swirl with knife to marbleize.
  • Bake at 350 for 25-30 minutes or until toothpick inserted into center comes out with fudgy crumbs. Cool in pan; cut into squares.
