Peppermint Cocoa

Cozy peppermint tea, enriched with antioxidant-rich cocoa and warming cinnamon, this drink feels indulgent while keeping the ingredient list refreshingly simple.

Serves 1
Time: 8 minutes

Ingredients: 
  • 2 peppermint tea bags
  • 2 Tablespoons unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon Stevia (can skip or substitute other sweetener if desired)
  • 2-3 Tablespoons heavy cream, half and half or dairy-free creamer (skip if doing strict slow-carb diet)

Instructions: 
  • Put tea bags, cocoa powder, cinnamon and vanilla into a large coffee mug.
  • Cover with boiling water and let steep for 5 minutes. 
  • Remove the tea bags and add cream (if using)
  • Serve!
