Pepperoni Pizza Hot Pockets

Makes 4 hot pockets
Time: 35 Minutes

Ingredients: 
  • 1 refrigerated thin crust pizza dough
  • 1/2 cup prepared pizza sauce
  • 20 pepperoni slices
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 Tablespoon butter, melted
  • Italian seasoning or Pizza/Pasta Magic seasoning, to taste

Instructions: 
  • Preheat oven to 350F.  
  • Grease a large cookie sheet and roll out the pizza dough. 
  • Cut dough into 4 equal sections/rectangles.
  • Divide sauce between the 4 sections (put on 1 side of the rectangle). 
  • Repeat with pepperoni and cheese. 
  • Fold over the bare part of the dough and pinch the edges shut to seal (or press with a fork).
  • Brush the tops with butter and sprinkle with seasoning to taste. 
  • Bake for approximately 15 minutes or until golden brown. 
*These freeze well!  After baking, wrap in plastic wrap and then place in a freezer safe sealable bag.   To reheat, remove from bag and plastic wrap and wrap in a paper towel.  Cook for 1 1/2-2 minutes if frozen, 30-60 seconds if thawed.
