1/2 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese (regular or vegan)
freshly ground black pepper
1 pound linguine
Instructions:
Place basil, garlic, pine nuts, salt and olive oil in blender or food processor and process until smooth. Remove to a bowl (or can freeze for later)
Stir in the cheese
Cook pasta in a large pan of rapidly boiling salted water until it is al dente. Just before draining, take 1/4 cup of the cooking water and stir it into the sauce.
Drain the pasta and toss with the sauce, serve immediately.
