Sauteed Kale

DIETS: GF KT
Serves: 6, as a side
Time 20 min

Ingredients: 
  • 6 sliced bacon, cooked & crumbled
  • 1/4 cup butter
  • 8 cups kale, ribs removed and leaves roughly chopped
  • 1/4 cup broth (any kind)
  • 6 Tablespoons sliced almonds
  • Salt & pepper, to taste

Instructions: 
  • Melt butter in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add broth and kale and mix. Cover and simmer for 3-5 minutes, or until kale is wilted.
  • Uncover, add almonds, and simmer until liquid is absorbed. Add salt & pepper, to taste.
  • Remove from heat, sprinkle with almonds, and serve immediately.
