Shrimp Curry Rice

Ingredients: 
  • 4 2/3 cups water
  • 2 Tablespoons butter
  • 2 Packages (6 ounces) long grain and wild rice mix
  • 1 teaspoon curry powder
  • 2 cups frozen pre-cooked shrimp (small)
  • 8 bacon strips, cooked and crumbled
  • Salt/Pepper, to taste

Instructions: 
  • Place water and butter in a large saucepan; stir in the rice, contents of rice seasoning packet and curry powder.
  • Bring to a boil. Reduce heat; cover and simmer for 15 minutes.
  • Add shrimp and bacon. Cover and simmer 10 minutes longer or until liquid is absorbed and rice is tender.
