Smokey Sun-Dried Tomatoes

Makes 1/2 cup
A great vegan substitute for bacon!

Ingredients: 
  • 1/2 cup chopped sun dried tomatoes (dried, not packed in oil)
  • 1/4 cup hot water
  • 1 Tablespoon red wine vinegar
  • 1 Tablespoon Bragg's Amino Acids or Tamari
  • 2 teaspoons liquid smoke
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder

Instructions: 
  • Combine all ingredients in a bowl and let sit for 10-20 minutes (or longer).  
  • Drain and add to dish of choice!
