Steaks with Horseradish Butter

DIETS: LC GF KT
Serves: 4
Time: 20 Minutes

Ingredients: 
  • 3 Tablespoons butter, softened
  • 2 teaspoons horseradish
  • 1 Tablespoon minced shallot or green onion
  • Salt & Pepper, to taste
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • 2 Tablespoons olive oil
  • 4-4 to 6 ounce flank steaks

Instructions: 
  • Make horseradish butter by mixing butter, horseradish, shallot, 1/2 teaspoon salt & 1/4 teaspoon pepper. Stir to combine and set aside.
  • Mix 2 teaspoons salt, 1 teaspoon sugar and 1/2 teaspoon pepper. Pat steaks dry and rub with mixture.
  • Heat oil in large skillet over med-high heat. Add steak and cook to desired doneness: 3-5 minutes per side (for medium rare).
  • Remove steaks from pan and let rest for 5 minutes. Serve topped with horseradish butter.
