In a wide bowl or large ziplock bag, mix all ingredients except salmon, olive oil and sesame seeds.
Add salmon to the marinade and toss to coat.
If using a bowl, cover and let marinade in the refrigerator for 1-2 hours, flipping occasionally.
Remove salmon from marinade and set aside. Pour marinade in a small saucepan and bring to a boil over high heat. Reduce heat to medium-low and let simmer until ready to serve.
Heat olive oil in a large skillet over med-high heat. Add salmon and fry until it flakes easily with a fork - about 3 minutes per side.
Serve salmon with remaining sauce spooned over.
Sprinkle with sesame seeds and serve immediately
