Tilapia with Balsamic Brown Butter

Serves 4

Ingredients: 
  • Salt & Pepper
  • 4 tilapia fillets (6-8 ounces each)
  • 1/2 cup flour
  • 3 Tablespoons Olive Oil
  • 4 Tablespoons Butter
  • 1/4 cup balsamic vinegar

Instructions: ​
  • Season the fish with salt & pepper.
  • Dust fish with flour and shake off excess.
  • Heat oil in large skillet over med-high heat.
  • Cook fish for 4 minutes on each side, until cooked through.
  • Remove fish from skillet and cover loosely with foil to keep warm.
  • Add butter to pan the fish cooked in. Brown the butter over med heat for 2-3 minutes, then stir in the balsamic vinegar and simmer for 1-2 minutes to reduce by half.
  • Pour the brown butter sauce over the fish.
