  • For heat rash: add lemon juice, vinegar or baking soda (or all 3)  in bath water.  
  • 1 teaspoon vinegar in 1/2 glass of water. Rub into skin. 
  • Turmeric can cleanse and improve the skin, as well as ease parasitic skin problems.
  • ​Spray area with diluted apple cider vinegar. 
  • Rub fresh cilantro leaves on location.
  • Mix raw leek juice with milk to make lotion, apply to affected area. 
  • Apply fresh aloe vera sap directly onto affected area.
Poison Ivy/Oak:
  • Rub the insides of a banana peel, raw potato slices, cabbage or red beets on affected area. 
  • Stir some alum into Vaseline.  Put on affected area.
  • Put olive oil on affected area.
  • Blot with freshly squeezed lemon juice. 
  • Mix equal parts vinegar and water and dab frequently onto affected areas. 
  • Rub rhubarb leaves on affected area until it forms juice.
  • Add 1/2 cup baking soda to bath water and soak for 30 minutes. 
  • An epsom salt bath can help reduce the intensity and prevent the spread.
