Vanilla Chocolate Chip Cookies

Makes 3 dozen
Time: 2 hours

Ingredients: 
  • 2 1/4 cups flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 cup butter, softened
  • 1/4 cup white sugar
  • 3/4 cup brown sugar, firmly packed
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1 (3.5oz) package vanilla instant pudding
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 (12oz) package milk chocolate chips
  • 1 cup chopped nuts (optional)

Instructions: 
  • Combine flour and baking soda; set aside. Combine butter, sugars, vanilla and pudding. Mix in large mixer bowl; beat until smooth and creamy.
  • Beat in eggs; gradually add flour mixture. Stir in chocolate chips and nuts (batter will be stiff).
  • Drop by heaping teaspoon about 2" apart onto ungreased cookie sheet. Bake at 375F for 9-10 min or until browned.
