1 can corn (white or yellow), drained, or 1 1/4 cups frozen corn
1 can (4oz) chopped green chilies
3 teaspoons chicken or vegetable bouillon granules
1 teaspoon ground cumin
1/2 teaspoon turmeric
Instructions:
In small skillet, sauté onion and garlic in oil until onion is tender.
Transfer to a slow cooker. Stir in remaining ingredients. Cover and cook on low for 7-8 hours.
OR (non-crockpot option)
In soup kettle, sauté onion and garlic in oil until onion is tender.
Add all remaining ingredients and bring to a boil.
Reduce heat and simmer for at least 30 minutes.
