Waffles

Serves 5

Ingredients: 
  • 2 1/2 cups flour
  • 3/4 teaspoon salt
  • 4 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1 1/2 Tablespoons sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 1/4 cups milk
  • 3/4 cup olive/other oil
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions: 
  • Sift dry ingredients and combine eggs, milk and oil.
  • Combine liquid and dry ingredients just before baking; beat until smooth. This is a thin batter.
  • Bake in hot waffle iron. When steam no longer appears, waffle is done.
