8 ounces white chocolate (pounded into small chunks)
1/2 cup chopped walnuts
Sauce Ingredients:
1/2 cup butter, softened
1/2 cup powdered sugar
1/4 cup (2 ounces) cream cheese, softened
2 Tablespoons pure maple syrup
1/4 teaspoon salt
Garnishes:
Vanilla Ice cream
Chopped walnuts
Instructions:
Preheat oven to 325F
Make the blondie by combining all blondie ingredients, except white chocolate and walnuts, in a large bowl. Mix with an electric mixer until well combined and smooth. Mix in white chocolate chunks and walnuts by hand. Pour into a greased 9x13 baking pan and bake for 40-45 minutes or until top is browned and toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
While blondie bakes, mix all sauce ingredients together in a medium bowl with an electric mixer until well combined and smooth.
To serve, slice blondie into 8 pieces. Serve while blondie is still warm, or microwave it for 30-60 seconds. Warm the sauce as well (30-60 seconds in the microwave). Top each slice of blondie with a scoop of ice cream. Drizzle with sauce and sprinkle with chopped walnuts.
