3 cups lettuce or spinach, chopped into bite-sized pieces
2-3 Tablespoons onion, chopped
5 slices bacon
3 Tablespoons vinegar
1 Tablespoon sugar (white, brown, honey or maple syrup)
Salt & Pepper, to taste
Instructions:
Put greens and onion in a serving bowl.
Cook bacon in a skillet until crisp.
Remove bacon to a paper towel-lined plate.
Remove skillet from heat and add the vinegar and sugar to the bacon drippings and whisk until combined.
Crumble bacon and add to greens mixture.
Pour hot skillet mixture over greens and stir to combine.
Add salt/pepper to taste.
Serve immediately.
