Yogi Tea (V, GF)

Serves 1

Ingredients: 
  • 1.5 - 2 cups water
  • 4 whole black peppercorns
  • 4 whole green cardamom pods
  • 3 whole cloves
  • 1/2 stick cinnamon
  • 1 inch slice of fresh ginger root
  • 1/2 cup milk (dairy, soy, almond, etc)
  • Honey, to taste (optional)

Instructions: 
  • Bring water to a rapid boil.  
  • Add peppercorns, cardamom, cloves, cinnamon and ginger root. 
  • Cover, reduce heat to medium and boil for 20 minutes.  
  • Add the milk and tea and heat to almost boiling. 
  • Pour and serve.  Honey can be added to sweeten if desired.
